I need a motor mount for a single 1717 finned castle motor in my cheetah. I havent had any luck finding something that will support it in the rear. I could machine a custom one but it takes too long on a manual machine and would be more cost effective to buy one. Help! :)

Interesting. I've been doing some advance planning fro my Hydro build and have been looking for a similar mount......without success. The last few days I've been emailing with Dave at Hampton RC about making one for me for a TP4050 motor.
I'll be interested what pops up here, but you might want to ping Dave. -

Nice work on the mount Randy. If you could incorporate water cooling up front to keep the front bearing cool, that would be the cat's meow......Comment

I could make the front plate out if thicker angle stock to water cool not a hard thing to do. It would not be the $19.00 original price though that would add about $20. to the front plate.Comment
