That is still doable, 5s2p. How do you work that? Do you just run a y cable off both black and red off the esc?
you would use an adaptor like the one down the page: http://kintecracing.com/
It is easy once you start using bullets on the batteries.
Too many boats, not enough time...

Mean Machine new build help please

Keep in mind, the mm is really a 60mph boat tops. If you want to go faster it takes meticulous tuning or a hull better suited to higher speeds

              Thanks for that Heaving Earth,
What Hull would you recommend for higher speeds?

                  Is that the one?

Its so hard to pick a hull as I really don't know which one will suit me the most. I am after speed and stability in turns. Something that is nice and strong and eventually will run 70mph+. First build will do 60mph

As mentioned above the MM is not a large boat. It is not going to be very useful at 70 mph. I'd recommend the Avenger 36 instead. It has the same bottom as the SprintCat but is a lot easier to tape, has much better access and more scale-like looks. I run a SC on 6S but the Avenger wasn't available when I built it. For 70 mph I recommend 6S - and a motor with a Kv around 1500. Lower amp draw and longer run times .

                    .

Thanks fluid, Would you suggest the same hardware mentioned above?
Id still go for the neu 1515 1500kv I think, unless you could suggest a better motor for the bigger hull?
                      Might have to do twins?
