    boat not moving

    ey guys i have a px-16 NQD storm engine boat it was working fine and now when i pull on the trigger on the remote nothing happens battery is fully charged i did notice when i get really close to it (antenia touching antena) it works as i back away it stops i checked soldering connections and fix as needed problem still there battries in controller are new. Could it be the crystal?please help

    Hi, I would suggest you get yourself a 2.4Ghz radio to eliminate any possible interference issues. They are now relatively cheap of you get one from somewhere like HobbyKing.com

      How about the Batts in the transmitter?

        BillyBoy said they were new batteries in the transmitter. Maybe he can check the transmitter display or power LED while he testing the transmitter.

          Hi billy boy. The odds are that the stock electronics in the nqd are junk, and need actual hobby quality components. Every nqd i've ever seen has crapped out after a short time. Now days you can replace the cheap circuit board with a real ESC, motor, radio & receiver fairly inexpensively to get up and running with a reliable starter boat. We have another member here that likes the nqd sprint boats.
