I have one on the way to me as I type, some guys have done some ride pad work. You will have
To search around to find it. They are narrow and they don't turn well is the best answer I have found.
having an offset rudder is apperntly a must and there are some better props for it. I can't believe nobody is chiming in here! I could use some help here as well. Good luck!

I have one im.getting ready to build. Its pretty narrow and I'd imagine it would be hard to turn at high speeds without flipping. Btw, I have a 2200kv 4082 leopard motor that looks brand new ill sell you cheap. Comes with water jacket. I don't think your gonna be able to do 6s reliably with a 2000kv motor anyway.....from what I've been told. 1800kv and below. You could run this motor on 5s and it would move pretty good. I run my miss geico on 5s with a 2200kv motor and it scoot pretty well. Most of the time it flies out the water. Your hull would stay down better. I once tried 6s on this setup and it was down right sick fast.

2200 may be a little high, I am thinking about though as a swap out motor as my son will
be running a 3674 or something like that to keep it slow as he's little. I may want to swap the
Motor out every know and then and do some fast passes. Thinking about it.

Just let me know. I can take a video of it running.

I can't run anything here until winter is over. April probably May nextyear before a boat gets wet
You wouldn't have to show me anything running by the way. If you say its good, its good. I just have to pass as I have to much else to do to and get ready for next year. That motor on the shelf would mock me until I did something stupid with it!

I have the CF version of the 37" Daytona. As far as turning goes, it turns well, but it does not "slide or drift" like my Geico 29 does. The daytona turns like a car on asphalt, decent speed 35 - 40 mph. Too much steering and the rear end slides out. Basically, no sharp turns except at low speed, turn too much going too fast and it will roll over. I am using a CC 2200KV, 2-6S 5000 parallel, and a 230 prop. Smooth water and 80+ mph no problem, and I am running the in-line rudder still, I think it looks better on this hull. In the vid below I never go WOT. When I bought this hull I was not concerned about corner speeds, just straight line.

Id put that 2200 kv motor back in that boat. Make sure it isn't overproppes and setup is rock solid and run it. I just got my genesis in the mail for the young lad for Christmas. You can't beat it for the money! Its got a 3674 2075kv motor which will be plenty for him on 3s. Surprised that the drive rube is done in stainless and they fit at aligned things fantastic. Paint and decals clearcoated verywell. Nice rear handware. I may give the inside a sand and put a little carbon fiber so it looks nicer (for my son so it looks kinda like dads inside). A very nicely done little cat. My son is going to love it! I do.

Cc2200 is a castle creations 2200kv motor. 2-6s packs just refers to what the esc can handle. Runtime is based on mah of battery
