Does anyone know of or have any experience of this hull?

Hi. I´m fairly new to FE boating and having purchased a ready to run boat I would like to progress to doing quite a bit of the building. Although I have looked at some expensive hulls I think it would probably be better to make my mistakes on something a lot cheaper. Might save some tears too!!

I have been looking at this 50 inch mono http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiberglass...item232d28d318 I could then put in carbon fiber cloth motors etc. I also have already a couple of Seaking 180amp Esc plus a selection of Lipo batteries which I would like to use. Several questions though:

Does anyone know of this hull/supplier ie quality v price and supplier reliability?

I´m guessing I should use a duel motor set up? If so what size motor and I would prefer to use Leopard or TP motors purely on a financial basis?

    What rudder?

What drives? There seems to be a massive selection at greatly varying prices. I want something reliable.

If I went for one large motor what should I look at and I guess I would need to buy a new Esc to suit and a different rudder selection to what I would buy for a twin motor set up?

Any advice greatly received as I need to make a decision on this having looked at MHZ cat hulls, mono hulls and the Genesis plus a complete scratch build!!!!

Hi. Sorry Fella1340 I somehow missed your post on my other post. I´m not used to forums but have learn´t my lesson regarding posting!! God it seems complicated. Could have been worse though as I posted on a UK site regarding COG on a Catamaran and then was away working. Just checked back and I´m glad I was away. If those replying had been together there would have been a punch up!!! Seventeen opinions and 70% different!!

The main point I wanted to make was that the boat needs structural reinforcement before running a fast electric setup. Its to bad really, if I had a stronger layup the boat it would have been close to perfect. I hope you keep this in mind when planning your build so you have an enjoyable time on the water. Your going to love this boat!

I have some carbon fibre and will order a nit more plus some Kevlar. I have reinforced my catamaran with carbon fibre and have just received a GPS speed monitor. I understand it won´t work if I have the hatch reinforced as I have. I think there is a space at the very end of the hull which I couldn´t reach so I may have to do that!!
