Where could the water be coming from? I have a HK Genesis and every time I run the boat its filling up with water. I would have to say about a cup or more. I replaced all of my water coolant lines and resealed my stuffing tube. I have also sealed the lower part of the stuffing tube to rudder. I ran it today and there was still water in the hull after the run. it wasn't as much but it was still a good amount. I just cant figure out what the water is coming from.
Where is this water coming from??

Post some pictures of the boat and setup in it.
It may be coming in at the stuffing tube end where flex shaft and coupler connect,
If it is just add a small piece of water line there and it should stop most if it there.
Also do a pressure test on the lines and motor cooling jacket and esc cooler to,
Use a syringe or something like that filled with water to pump through it from water pick up line to the exit,
Than block the exit port with you finger or something and see if it holds the water back and look for leaks.
You can also do a tub test and see if anything show up.Last edited by lenny; 11-11-2013, 06:52 AM. -

Have you filled the stuffing tube with marine grease, to stop any water pumping by the flex shaft. ?Comment

Check for a cut in the cooling lines. Especially around fittings. They can be hard to detect.Mike Chirillo

do a pressure test on your lines, don't blow into it you cant create enuf pressure, use a large 60cc syringe (you can pick one up at any pharmacy for a buck or 2 w no needle) fill it w water and attach it to the intake hose, fill the system w water than hold your finger ove the output hole. Then apply pressure to the system if there are any leaks it will show. Also check the seams on the hull these are annoying because you can get buckets of water in your boat thru a cracked seam that you cant even see.We call ourselves the "Q"Comment
