    Building a Brushless Shockwave 36

I am converting a Pro Boat Shockwave 36 to brushless. I need help with the esc, batts, and motor. I am looking for 40mph+. I already have a octura x445 prop I want to continue to use. I would prefer to use inexpensive hobby king components as we'll.

Did you just pick up that one off eBay? :-) saw one the other day and almost bid on it. They are nice looking, and I know Lenny enjoys his. He's the man to talk to there.

I saw that one on e bay too! But it was 2:00AM and I was too tired to do anything, I thought of Lenny's boat, I have always wanted to convert one, oh well.
          OP: keep us posted.

Hey did you do a search yet on the boat ?

                    Mine runs pretty good with a 4074 2000kv and a T180a esc turning a 187 flex with a x646/3 prop,
Running on 2s in series or 4s in parallel.

How about a motor and batts for the x445 prop I have?

I have run a Neu Castle 2200kv on 4S with a x445 and a Hobby King 180 ESC and it runs great and cool. But that motor may be more than you want to spend. If so, I would go with a Leopard 4074 2200 or 2000 (as Lenny suggested)with that prop.

Hey have you done anything else with yours ?
Any new pictures or video's or speeds ?

I was thinking 1800kv maybe a good setup to,
It lets you have more cell setups to run.
Like with my Pursuit that I have been testing on 3s,4s,5s,6s and a x447/3 prop.

Is it ok that my prop is only 2 blades?
