Help! .150 Flex cable vs. straight long shaft drive system?

I was wondering if a flex drive cable can withstand a motor (ex. Neu 1512 at 18 cells or 6s Lipo running a Hydra 120 ESC with a x 645 prop)with enough power to go over 100 MPH or should I switch to a long straight shaft drive system instead??Which drive system is best? Any help will be appreciated...???? Im also planning on a twin Neu Project.

The .150 flex will take it. I personaly like the idea of straight shafts but I don't have any boats that can use them because of thrust angles.

I personally think that, with a Neu Motor, .150 is really pushing it...

All of my boats above N2 sized have .187 cables in them, after watching several Q and P-Sized boats twist the .150 cables into knots...

May depend on how long it needs to be... If the motor is mounted forward, I'd opt for the larger cable if it were me...

While a .150 may well work I would opt for the 187 also.
