    Hi there guys,

It's been a fair amount of time since i last posted but i still have never got my HPR 115 running (properly), ive had a look through the forum today looking for help but i think creating a thread would be my best bet, ive got a little spare change and would like to see it run i ran it with the eagletree connected and i can maybe dig out the data from an old post.

i'm not going for any speed records, would like to see it run around the 60mph mark

Basically the boat is the 115 with all there running gear,

    has 2x NEU 1521/1y
    2X AS26-150BL evo2's
it did run on 2 turnigy 6s 5000mah 40c batteries (now knackered)
    2x propshop 47mm 2 blade probs or 2x 45mm 3 blades...

i ran it once on the 45mm 3 blade props and it wouldn't get over the plane, the motors are mounted as specified by the guy at HPR at the time, batteries approximately as i was told to do so,

Basically i need, advice on my set up the boat seemed highly underpowered wouldn't get over the plane on max rpm,

    i also require,
    2x 6s lipo's
    1x decent lipo charger
possibly a new radio? anyone got any suggestions on this?

have ordered some SLS APL 4000mAh 6S1P 22,2V 30C+/60C a skektrum DX2S radio with a marine receiver and a new hyperion charger,

trying to order some new x447 propellors already sharpened and balanced,

anybody able to tell me if the sls lipo's will fit straight into the balancers on the hyperion charger or will i need a adapter?

spoke to andy brown and have some x447 tounge cuts on order should be 2-3 weeks, which is also good as having problems with the lipo's. might go with another brand.

Hey there, seems you would like to get your boat running. I would start another thread titled
"Need help with hpr 115 setup!" Or something like that. You could even move this to the
Boat build thread as well. Lots of guys have lots of knowledge on these boats but the hi there guys won't get there attention. Anything with hpr in the title should! Goodluck

will update it later, ran my atlantic challanger yesterday which had a hiccup, hadn't lined one of the jet drive pulleys up very well which caused it to over heat and fail, can't get a replacement till mid 2014.....

the hpr needs batterys and a charger. then good to try get it running again.

Bad luck on the.Atlantic Challenger. I am not familier with it, is this pulley for steering the rudder?

hi, it would be for the motors, they are geared down, the boat runs off jet's, no props / rudder, bit of a shame since i shelled out on new lipo's for it to only get 1 run.. this is the boat in question,

while it ran, it ran sweeeeet... its about 1.4 meters overall.

id say it runs 35-40 and i never pushed it (and probably won't)

considering getting some lower kv motors and something with a bolt patter the same as the graupner 700bb motors it was designed around (probably my modification to mount wasn't 100% perfect causing the belt not to line up and it to fail) if i go direct motor bolt pattern we should be ok.

I wonder why the did not go with direct drive and some nice size outrunners for torque,
This guy is building some nice jet stuff right now.

I like the look the belt drives. There quite sharp. should have made it a 50% overdrive! I am surprised its not direct as well, something about those belt drives I like.

You just like to watch the wheels go around,
It does remind me of a blower a little.
I guess that is why I like the looks of a outrunners.
