Re drill the holes where the cooling pipes are ruining from the rudder pick up.
On my UL-1 out of the box they were squeezed too much limiting the water pressure a little. Same with output...DJI Drone Advanced Pilot

You mean running, as the hoses entering the double hull? also on the BBY you sold me, did you modify the rudder ( UL-1) so there are TWO elongated holes on each side of the blade? I love it and want to do the same to some other rudder but I think the technicality is beyond my simple tool's capabilities.
There is also another hole right below the pivot pin to enable ease of removal of the pin, one such recent thread was asking how to get the pin out with all the set screws already removed.

Correct....
The extra hole in the rudder was carefully drilled in angle so the rudder can still scoop the water when in motion, no special tools other than drill and good eye.
Sharp exact knife should do the trick, slowly lifting the pin when all set screws are removed... WD-40 will help loosing it up in case is stack....DJI Drone Advanced Pilot

I no longer have my UL-1 and BBY was sold to Tim...
Tim, would you please make couple of pictures of your rudder on BBY for BW52.
Also, some new rudders available on the market have the pick up on both sides...DJI Drone Advanced Pilot

Here are the pictures, I was wrong: I mean Lipo Power had enlarged the scoop on the elongated pickup hole, there isn't another one on the other side of the blade---how fast one forgets, I have the boat in my dinner room all this time.
Water flow is definitely better as compared to my UL-1 unmodified rudder. Also I like the hole that is below the pivot pin---easy removal. DSCN4590_4917.jpg DSCN4592_4919.jpg DSCN4591_4918.jpgToo many boats, not enough time...Comment

Well, the stock's groove is kind of narrow, and the hole at the end could/should be enlarged, so either widen the groove and make the hole bigger, or do it like Lipo Power which is kind of both, the hole at the end of the groove where water will go up is bigger than stock. I also like the extra large scoop. At first I wanted a new one so the color will match, after looking at how tiny the hole and groove were, I decided stick with this used blade, so far I love it.
