run time TP4040

Just wondering what kind of run time I could expect running a TFL Popeye Hydro on a TP 4074 2200KV y motor using a single 4s 5800 or 4s 5000 and also would I be better using a 45c pack or would a 25c work ok. and would i be ok on a M545 prop

What prop? What speed? You could easily pull 100-130 amps - or more -depending on the prop and how wet the hull runs. A 5000 mAh 4S pack will run for 2.5 minutes at 100 amp average discharge rate before it reaches 20% capacity, a safe stopping point. You will not want a 25C pack.

Not Sure Jay never had a Hydro before exept a small vortex 22" thinking maybe a M545? just after advise really, just read that a 6s setup in this hull would be too much so going to run 4s
I have a new TP4074 2200kv motor I could use, not for racing, but just sport running to get a much run time as I can, speed around 50/55mph would make me happy

Another setup option i was thinking about may give me a bit more run time. or maybe less, but it looks a nice setup
trying to avoid a 4s 2p setup if possible.
