    ??Converting Freedom rz to electric??

I am wanting to convert my ABC Hobbies Freedom rz to electric. Was wanting to go twin outboard for scale look. Thinking of "Dock Blood" theme. So the twin outboards is what I was looking to do. I like the stilleto outboard, or the smaller one OSE sells. I'm not sure what best suits for the hull with twins. Also wondering about counter-rotating props. Is this possible with motor setup. Willing to do srut/ stinger set up, but would prefer the scale look. Maybe even one outboard unit. Open to info. Want to go fast, but do not need to set records. Thanks for replys

Nothing? I would think some one would have some info on the outboards. Good/ Bad . Go with a srut or stinger, or just throw the boat in the trash.

      Hey Nathan.
If you want to do 2 motors your looking at 2 speed controllers.
The stilleto setup is a good one for single or twins. You can also use the aquacraft 60amp esc often can find them for around $50 in the swap shop. They are great controllers I run them in couple of my electric boats.
If you go with 2 motors id buy new to be sure they are as close to equal power as possible. Then just make sure the controllers are the same and you'd build a y connector from your revciever.

For counter rotating you'd switch 1 motors wires around to go the opposite direction.

You could also go with a Turnigy/hobby wing 120 esc a lot of people have good success with them.
      OSE GIFTING ELF
      HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

If you are going to try out boards you might want to try and see if you can find the flex shaft for the out board leg that comes in both a left and right wind first

Thanks for the replies, not a lot of info on the outboards. I can always count on you Jeff for good info, maybe just a single for now with a strut or stinger.
