    esc trouble

i need some help understanding a couple things. but i will start with a warning. my spelling sucks and i dont use a whole lot of punctuations .Please bare with me . i have a revolt 30 . i started with a seaking 120 1800 kv motor i.e. (stock) x445 s/b. boat was quick and fast . So i bought a used 180 seaking and a 2200 leopard 3674 the seaking 180 was bad but i kept the motor i bought a used hyrda 180 hv . everthing powers up were are good . My friend want to try the ecs in his boat which is a miss gieco with a 4082 leopard 2000 kv . we called castle and they said that the 180 hv would not handle that motor it should be something in a 1650 kv range that would be consindered a sport set up . the 4082 he has would what they consider a comp setup and wouldnt be covered under warranty . but he runs the boat all the time on a seaking 180 with a prather 225 prop . so is my theory of castle being a great product a myth . now in all fairness i have ran rc car and truck for 15 years love castle products . but now the big question is it going to go poof with my 2200 leo in it im almost to scared to run it . because i have never seen a boat out run before any help would be greatly appricated

He wants to run a Leo 3674 2200kv with the hydra 180hv on 4s with an x445 in his revolt.

I called castle yesterday about putting it in my geico and the rep told me I would have to run a 1650kv on 4s to be considered in the safe range of operation for that esc.
