    36"" shovelnose conversion question

    Hello everybody,

I picked up this vintage 80"s glass over wood build, of the 64" miss Notre damn shovelnose unlimited hydro from l8rg8r awhile back. Originally it was running a k&b .40 marine nitro setup in a 36"" x 17.5" hull.

I still have the option of putting the gasser powerplant in it & running it once in a while just to show off the vintage coolness of it .

However its running a standard 3/16 flex, strut & rudder, so a brushless conversion would be as simple as setting a motor mount & plugging in electronics. My question is this. Its currently running a huge Octura 1460 Prop
    Diameter: 2.36"
    Total Pitch: 1.4x2.36=3.304"
    Shaft Size: 3/16"

Any suggestions on a power system to spin this bigarse octura ?, or should I just run it as a vintage shelf queen ?.

    Thanks guys

BTW, dig the vintage pastel Miami vice pinstripes
