    rpm meter

I have quite a few brushed motors and bl motors. I need a rpm/kv meter. I have a hK meter with 3 alligator but no instructions. Any info on this matter will be appreciated, thanks!

I tried it again with 2- 7.4 lipos on a brushed motor and got 8817 kv but no rpm #'s came up. I attached the yellow alligator clip to brushed lead and red and black to pos/neg lipo leads and came up with what I typed here today. I found the answer on nitro site thru google but was very vauge; all sites said the same. BTW, thanks for replying. I put a brushed motor in a airboat but made airboat to uncontrollable. I ended by using a 1400kv outrunner on 3S. Now all my brushed motors are 12/2 or 14/2 winds. Thanks again and reading the reason for rpm/kv meter.
