    H.O.R. racing

Has anyone ordered or heard from "Johnny" in the past say 5 days? I ask because he owes me almost $400.00 and he is not responding to emails. I am about to open a pay pal dispute. The last email I got from him was on Oct 1 saying that he would refund my money "tomorrow". Have not heard anything from him since then..... Then to top it off some of the items I ordered weren't in the package.

Yes I have ordered from Hor till I figured out that I couldn't deal more with a company that doesn't support their customers like you.me and others.I spent much more Money than you and the last three orders arrived in a junk package with many parts missed ...sent many e-mails with no responses .I'm sorry for you and hope you can solve this issue.Gill

Last year I ordered from him an expensive dual rudder setup not carried by OSE. Three weeks later nothing. After e-mailing I got a reply that he "forgot" to send. Then he sent it by slow boat 'tho I had paid for the higher dollar EMS - he said he'd refund the difference. Three e-mails to him over a two month period with no response (or refund) I gave up. Had I not needed the dual rudder setup so bad I would have shipped it back to him free of charge (with a jar of vaseline)

I placed an order he missed parts in mine too. Will never do business again. I'd open a PayPal claim immediately.

How many complaints does one get before Pay Pal or Ebay no longer allows them to do business on their websites? So I am out almost $400.00 while he gets like 30 days or so to respond, which he still has not by the way, before they "investigate". So looks like I am out the money for a couple months at least..... What a tool

Odd, I've had little problems with him, never anything major.

Yes, very, either had I up to this point. I mean not refunding someone nearly $400.00 is kind of a big deal to me. Then top it off not including all the parts. In retrospect it likely is 400 or more when I add the missing parts to the failure to refund........ Anyone know what Pay Pal does by chance? I know they say protected, but 100% or what

Did you add funds with credit card?

If so call your credit card hotline for fraud and do a charge back.

No, it's the instant pay which is linked to my Bank account. I have thought of going that route, but I would like Pay Pal to do something about it. I would hate to see anyone else get burned because Pay Pal skirted their duties to inform potential buyers. I was hoping that someone that had to notify Pay Pal for a similar issue could give me the low down

just got a private message from Monica Smith i would post it but it was private, somethn' about TFL and the problems with HOR.
Anyway i tend to joke too much but hell it's fun,
so on that note i am an independent business man just another dumb contractor and when i hear about other businesses
not doing what they are (and should) be doing it fumes me. sometimes the extra miles pays off. all my repeat customers are the very best and i treat them as if they were my own family, heck they are paying my bills
so it's why i posted what i posted, i know there are two sides to every story but i read sometime ago about this place.
just thought i would share my experience as the sites i Love,

Never Had a problem with any one mentioned, shipped like next day, same day and less than 48hours, and all the least expense
way to ship some say 2-5 days here in 3, some 5-10 days here in about 7, never had longer than 10 days ever to receive a shipment from any of them.
out of many years of purchasing i have only to ship back a few items because my miss ordering.
so HOR do not be Horrible to your customers
