    Cat Hardware Question

    Hi all,

I just bought a proboat Blackjack 26 since i am axing the repair on my revolt. It has the "steerable outdrive" on it and i was wondering if i could convert it over to the more traditional style with the offset rudder?

My main question is with this being a cat is there any reason i should not? Also would the hardware from my Revolt work for this? It looks like it would almost all line up.

And finally if i do convert it over, is there any rhyme or reason as to where everything should be installed?

    Thanks!
    Steve

      Alex,
Thanks for the link. You helped me out more than you know.... come to find out the guy who bought your boat is trying to sell it to me for what he paid (so he says) for 130.

From the add it looks like he only paid 100 but he said he gave you an extra to sell it early. Is this true? In trading him a truck I have so I don't wanna be screwed

      Thanks
      Steve

didnt sell the ebay one that was one i was watching mine was the one with the inline hardware . I was thinking of buying it for old times sake but as i remember it wasnt the best handling boat ive owned just one of the one in my skill level at the time. I think 130 is a fair price considering its condition, but its all how bad you want it , let me know how it goes or if you need any advice
