Good morning all, when I signed on this morning there was a picture of a 3point outboard hydro that I would like to find more info on but my wonderful computer dropped me off and now I can not find the picture. I think the boat was red/black any help would be great thanx.

Not sure what you mean by 3 point OUTBOARD hydro, you mean it has an outboard motor ? If you chanced upon a picture in the gallery, go to Forum Home page , on the right there are 50 pages of member's boat collection.
Unless the owner or anybody else who knows exactly which hydro you are talking about, you might have better luck searching it yourself.

There is a nitro class we run on occasion called Mod VP Tunnel. Funky looking hulls. It can look like a Shallow V hull with sponsons or more like a tradional Tunnel hull with a center ride surface.Mike Chirillo

This might be it but there was another thread where a similar boat was built and I think it was electric

Thanx everyone but the boats I thinking about were run and raced in late 40s and early 60s they were classed A B C. They had the basic look of a thunder boat just smaller and with a outboard engines. I must have had a senior moment of wishful thinking I have been looking for this type of boat sense I got into this great hobby. Once again thanx for all replies.Comment

HI
this my first post you might try rum runner racing 1/4 scale kneeler from like the 50s -60s with out board motors. there where sort of plans for a scale boat called the Hedlund hump that was popular at that time. If I can locate the article I will re-post. I built a scale boat like it was about 28 in. long and powered it with the mini outboard from OSEComment

Somewhere I have plans for that Hedlund boat almost completely drawn up in cad from the originals, was going to build one then lost interest in the kneelers. Neat boats just not my cup of tea. The ones I've seen running have some interesting handling characteristics. If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?Comment
