Az NAMBA Gas/Nitro/FE event Oct 11-12th

NAMBA Dist 19 voted earlier this year to invite FE classes into their gas/nitro events. Our Scottsdale Club will be hosting a 2 day Nitro event Oct 11th and 12th, so I want to get the word out there!

There is a gas race the weekend before and the FE SAWS at Legg lake the weekend after the date of this event. I will have to do some arm twisting and puppy dog eyes to get a weekend pass THREE weekends in a row!!

But maybe!!

Also, at most D19 gas races you can run a FE boat in Open class on Sunday. I'll be running the Avenger now that I've got it working right.

Dang, I just realized this is October - I will be going to the big gas race in Vegas the last weekend of October. Almost no chance at all of FOUR weekend hall passes!! Maybe I will blow off Tucson. Scottsdale is closer anyhow and I can stay for free with friends.

David - do I understand this correctly that they are also planning on allowing gas as well?? Do you have more details??

I think it is the same as they wanted to do out here Tony. 3 boats makes a class.

Tony-You'll be safe with those classes, I'm sure. We'll fine-tune the FE classes we want to run in the next 30-60 days when I have a good handle on who can make it and what classes they like to run.

Bill-I may have jumped the gun about calling it a "...gas" race as well. I don't know, but will find out.
