Yep, running 4S and works very well however I have upgraded to a Turnigy 3450 motor which is rated for 4S and obviously your ESC needs to handle it. Stock motor may or may not like 4S, don't know as I never tried it.

Well I tried the 35mm x 1.7 CNC prop today but it did not fair too well. The wiring on the motor itself got so hot the terminal unsoldered. Not a big deal as no damage done. Good news is I got her to 49 mph and had more left but the pond was too small to really let her rip. I guess the moral of this story is stick with the 32mm x 1.7 CNC as this worked fine with no overheating. Max speed is around 46mph in this configuration which is way fast on this little boat.

Just thought I would update this. The boat is still performing flawlessly with the setup I have. Only recommendation I can make is stick with the stock prop 23 x 1.4p. I have tries a few other cnc props but the wires get so hot the ternimals unsolder. One really nice boat overall after the mods are done running 2x 5800mah 2s batteries for a total output of 5800mah @ 4S on the motor. Run time is 10-12 mins. Loving it every time.

how much room is under the sponsons? I've looked at this one as a tunnel but I only have 4s packs, 2200's specifically.

I may be able to get away with it in a proboat but not sure on this one. HK also has a newer f1 tunnel hull.

1 3/4" from the battery tray to the semi transparent flex shield which gets taped on.
