    Mountain Hobbies Hyper 44 Hydro

What do you guys think of this hull? (other than the ugly motor cover) Suppose to be about 6lbs. empty I'm thinking about it set up with a Leopard 5698 910kv motor, Swordfish 240HV Pro ESC on 10s. Let's hear opinions good or bad. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121088666434...84.m1423.l2649

Yeah, if I get it I'm going to fix that! The back half looks OK but all those bumps on the front half got to go! LOL I'll have to do a little streamlining.

I agree. I like the fact that it's narrow considering it's length. Seems like it will work well. "not what she said"...
Be interested to see one go for sure. I would just put a castle 2028 in there for a few extra bux

The ride pads look narrower than what I'm used to seeing as well.
It also looks like they're stepped?

I've already got the Leopard 5698 and the Swordfish ESC so I'll use them to start.

It automatically says US $1,181.00 shipping to Australia when I click on to it. So I'll pass.
What are the shipping costs within the U.S.?
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

Holy Crap!! It's only $40 from Tennessee to Florida. That can't be right $1181 to Australia, I'd call them direct they have a web site http://www.mountainhobbiesrc.com/

IMHO- There are allot of proven sport hydro hulls in this size range. I would spend the extra money and get one of them rather than something no one has knowledge of. I have never seen this boat run but I have seen other Mountain Hobbies boats run. They make an OK boat for sport running but that's about it. Even if you are only sport running, when you decide to get rid of the boat you could easily recoup some of your money if it were an Insane or Whiplash or some of the other well known brands.

PS- I'm not digging those ride pads either.
