There are so many options. First thing is to choose a hull. Can't go wrong with an aeromarine. The pursuit are nice as well.
How much chop are we talking?
    2", 3" chop?
The bigger hulls obviously handle better in bigger waves. A Sprintcat is a great cat hull.
Are you looking to build or rtr?

I have a Carbon Fiber Genesis, its been solid. No issues so far. I have run it in light to mod chop and as long as you don't turn too fast it doesn't roll. Straight away is when it excels in my opinion. I think a V-hull mono might to do better in chop though.

For running in some chop go for the Pursuit mono & at $179 from Hobbyking is excellent value, change out the motor & you will have the basis for a very good performing boat with some minor mods.

            Indeed pursuit are cool.
Kintec racing sells them fully built and pro painted with automotive paint for a price.
