Should have done this 12 months ago, but I am now only just getting around to reinforcing the seam between the upper and lower halves of the hull. I will be using 50mm carbon fibre tape and West epoxy.
I know that there was some discussion on the forum a year or so ago debating whether it was better to apply dry CF cloth to a epoxy wetted surface in the hull i.e easier to control the cloth when dry, but then more difficult to wet it in up the pointy end of the hull where access becomes increasingly difficult, or have the cloth wetted and then it is more difficult to get it to "behave" over such a long length without making a complete pig's breakfast of the task.
Any other options or suggestions for making this as painless as possible ?
