Please take a look at the video and give me advice!

Please take a look at the clip. As the title says, it is my first run on this BBY Zepheyr 27" Hydro. I am really pleased with the boat, however I was surprised that starting from a dead stop the portside sponson lifts up and the boat dances from side to side, no submarining though. I have to get to 75% and above for it to get settled. It does have two modified ride pads for higher speeds which reduces planning surface at lower speed.
I only had the stock UL-1 plastic prop with me. ( 40mm 3 blade), Ul-1 motor and Ul-1 turn fin.
Strut is same depth as the ride pads and with 1-1.5 degree of negative trim.
Here are pictures of the ride pads: DSCN1170_4692.jpg DSCN1169_4691.jpgDSCN1167_4689.jpg

Watch:56 seconds it gets unsettled and @ 1'14" it did the dance. But otherwise it was quite good.

    Hey Tim,
First thing that I would do is try a metal prop on it the way it is.
Do you have a x642 you could try ?
And see if that help it at lower speeds.
My thinking is that the plastic prop will flex a lot trying to keep the boat on plane at low speed,
But at high speeds it is already on plane and the prop can relax some and just push the boat along.
That x642 prop worked pretty good on my 24" 68 Gale Roostertail with the strut all the way up.

Youre ride pads are like speed bumps, they should gradually fade into the front of the sponsons, yours are just glued on there and are probably making the boat dance side to side?

Elongate the ride pads and have them gradually fade into the front of the sponsons.

          Thanks Lenny!
Robert (Lipo Power) did say clearly in his F/S thread that these ride pads are specifically installed for higher speed runs. Initially I was a bit nervous to pull the trigger but then I realized speed is my friend here and as I gave WOT, the hull did get settled down, just the occasional side to side dance.
My UL-1 does this a bit but the top speed is lower than this one. I couldn't for the life of me find the GrimRacer 40x52/3 prop which I had, so I had to use the plastic one.

I can certainly try that, the x642 worked very well on Darin Jordan's Miss Elam.

Just a follow up: after more runs and watching closely at the riding attitude, I thought the curved turn fin may be the culprit here. I was looking for an aluminum straight turn fin in the same size/class as the UL-1 turn fin, no luck. I have tried a Miss Vegas Deuce turn fin, modified a Venom ( Atomik) Miss Excite turn fin. With the Miss Vegas there was some improvement, but it is curved as well although I tried to straighten it in a vise. This fin is made of SS, very tough to bend/unbend.The Venom turn fin did not work well, ride was very unstable. finally it dawned on me that I should take the template from Darin Jordan's Miss Elam and made myself a straight turn fin out of FG G-10.DSCN1175_4717.jpg DSCN1179_4721.jpg DSCN1177_4719.jpg
here is how today's ride: I am liking it so far. Wish my batteries weren't as tired. The ride is much more stable:

To those who gave invaluable advice to me and the ones I PM'ed for advise---thank you all very much. Last but not least I would like to thank Lipo Power for selling this boat to me. I had some fun trying out/learning new things!
