Power supply for what ?? Chargers like that typically don't put out a constant 12 volts if that's what you're after

short answer; it is not recomended. auto battery chargers are good at charging lead acid car batt.s and supplying power to stuff that doesn't care how clean the power is.
iirc hyperion states in the manual not to use an automotive charger or other unregulated power source(besides 10amp isn't really enough power for the duo)
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in

From what I have read auto battery chargers are not to be used as a power supply for hobby battery chargers.
You can buy a nice benchtop power supply that will provide 10A regulated.
Another option is to make one.
I have two that have a power supply out of an old PC. Some of the more powerfull ones can produce 15A ! One of mine has a 10A and a 5A one in there, yes that is 2 PC power units in one box.
The other one that I keep at the station has a single 10A unit in there plus a discharge circuit that I use for balancing packs.

There is one more option that I have used but I will not reccomend ( liability and all that )
I have used a large car battery on the workshop floor that is hooked to a 5A wall charger. the power is smoothed out by the battery and the hobby charger is hooked to the terminals.
          See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

As the others have already said,it is not a good idea to use a car battery charger as a power supply.
Although these chargers are rated at 12 volts they have to overcome the relatively high resistance in a traditional lead acid battery so their output voltage can be as high as 17 volts and is usually unregulated.
The Hyperion Duo you are wanting to use it on requires 15 - 20 amps power supply anyway if you want to charge two high capacity batteries at once.
OSE sell a power supply unit which I think is about 15 amps which should be up to the task.

These guys are right, dont do it! You may get away with it once or twice, maybe even ten times, but eventually you are gonna let the smoke out of something. I made this mistake before, and it cost me a Tekin charger. Expensive back in the day.
Yes its fast, yes it will go far away, yes its expensive. No you cant try it.
