    fightercat esc questions

    just recd. a fightercat esc and wondering what the 4 pin receiver style plug does? wondered also why the cap bank that comes with these escs has 8 guage wire lol.....maybe overkill haha

      and are these esc setup w 6mm bullets on the motor output side? not likely for me to find any so shall I just fill cups w solder and drop a heavy guage wire in there? who has done this sofar and results...

        You would not have any bullits available to you??? Just desolder them and but yours on.Much cleaner than adding wire.
        I run 5.5mm on motor side for most all my rigs.6.5 Castle's on battery side.

          so you are saying to cut back the shrink and solder my 8mm bullets to the board on this esc? here we only have 5.5 or 6.5 bullets and I think the ones on it are 6mm.....odd kinda but it is a china esc afterall lol

            No no,not solder to the board. Just undo the 6's and put yours on the wire leads.

              Hobbyking sells 6mm plugs I use them on all my higher amp setups

                    16s/200 yes they are soldered directly to the board...I may just fill the bullets with solder and drop wires in of my own.
