hows this setup look for a 50" apache

5s2p going to a mamba monster powering a kb 45xl, actually two of these setups since its twin powered and i have wo of these motors in the boat

i was thinking 4 4500 5s packs in total rated at 135amp discharge, seeing as thats 800 dollars will these batterys work for my apllication?

what would i need for the nihm setup if i decide to be cheap?

If you are wanting to use 5S? I would suggest the KB45 9XL's on x445 at 90 amps and 1600 watts, just not sure where you can get counter rotating X445 props?

cause we already have 11xls, would going for 6s2p for each side be worth it? i use plastic props so counter rotating aint no issue

aah, yes it would need 6s for the 11XL with X450 props and 85 amps, 1800 watts.

do i really need to parrallel then if its only gonna pull 85 amps? the elite packs claim to be good for 135amps continuous

Just keep the amps under 80% of the lipo 4500 battery 30C rating. That is 108 max amps, so a single set will work for each motor.

This is at a speed somewhere between 35 and 45 mph.
