    Aquacraft 2030 or 1800

I would just like to be sure what I got... I just purchased a used boat and the motor has a sticker "Aquacraft 36-56" on it. I have no other information other than the can is blue. My question is: How can I tell if it's a 1800 or a 2030?

You can tell by the 36-56 and the fact that the can is blue.
    You have this one:

If can were gold in color the KV (1800 or 2030) would have been on the end bell of the motor.
    This is NOT a toy?!?

Nope, not always. I have two Aquacraft gold 2030 Kv motors - one out of a new UL-1 and the other purchased new from Steven. Neither has the Kv on the endbell, see photo. The blue motor is an SV27 motor, either 1550 or ~1700 Kv. ( http://web.archive.org/web/201110112...od=dh-aqug7000 )
