Pressurized hull challenge

When my motor or esc blows up it pressurizes the hull, maybe too much pressure because my shocker hull blew the front seam out.
And I too am still eager to know what benefit this may add?? Hey even if it sounds crazy after you wright it down still let is know what your thinking. Improvements don't come from not needing but from necessity. So if its a benefit I would like to know, how? Why? From what? Always eager to learn and keep an open mind.Comment

Nothing but hatch locks and foam rubber tape sealing this hull, she's seen plenty of these 60+mph blowovers, sat upside down for 10 min after this one 'til I go ti with a fishing rod, took on a shot glass of water. To each his own, but I've been running 3 boats like this, all between 53-69.7mph, and I have been satisfied. My private off road rc track

I did not bring up the idea with the only goal of keeping the water out of some toy plastic boat. Rc submarines use it for ballast etc.... Think outside the box. Longer term i could envision it being used for dynamic
ballasting in turns hole shots etc... I remember when altering props was a stupid idea. Now it's mainstream. I encourage everyone to think with some level of creativity and quit replying with all of these negative preschool comments. There are clearly members of this forum that have significant investments in their boats ie including turbines etc...
I don't believe silly ideas exist.
I am trying desperately to steer this thread from being shut down by the mods.Too many boats, not enough time...Comment

Just to clarify, my posts have not been to discredit the OP, far from it. It is more just an example to show that tape is not the only way, as some may see it so. I am certainly open to anybody's experimentation and ideas. In my boats, it is actually the pressure from the outside, like when submarining, or even sitting upside down, that helps keep the seal when it's needed most, while still allowing relief from high pressure impacts of flexing and staying right intact. But some people don't want to see beyond their own ways, heck there's still guys that insist nimh is the way to go.........again, to each his own, but I personally am open to expanding my horizons. My private off road rc track
