Aquacraft 60A esc issues.

I purchased a boat from someone here that came with an Aquacraft 60A esc in it. When I plug the battery in, I get the one beep. I go full throttle, I get the beep and then let off and get the three beeps saying it is armed. At that point, I throttle up and I get one or two throttle shots out of it and then it just stops working until I unplug it and start the process over again. I should add- this was being tested in my Barbwire with the stock outrunner on a 3S 2200 with no load if that makes a difference. Am I missing something here or is the ESC toast? Thanks.

I know it's rated for 4s... Never tried 3s on mine

ahh, I'm a dumbass.. I never even thought about that.. I wonder if it is just a low voltage issue then... I was just looking for something to toss into the barbwire while waiting on the warranty replacement and since I had that, it got put in. Didn't even think about the cell count .

OK, I just looked up the specs of the ESC and I only see 4S listed. Doph

That's why I like he Hobbywing Seaking ESCs, you can set the # of lipo cells for the battery you're using. Some Turnigy are the exact same ESCs. I use my Hobbywing program card on my Turnigy ESCs
