    Not stock revolt 30 build

Purchased a leopard 3674 from kevinpratt823 on here. Got the motor in, matched up to a turnigy/seaking 180a I had laying around. 6.5 bullets going on the motor, castle 6.5 connectors on the battery. My fastest so far with the stock revolt with an x445 was 46mph. I'd love to see 50mph out of the leopard setup. Going to spin a m445 first and check temps. Have a package coming from ose with parts for dual water cooling, carbon fiber battery tray and m545 & m645 props.

It was fun for a minute. It was blistering fast, to me. Running the m445 and about a minute into a run I lost all forward power. Boat drifts back to shore and the prop and shaft was gone. It broke at the flex mates to the solid prop shaft. Time for the hughey

I would just get an OSE .187 flex and pull out the teflon liner.
Glad to hear the motor is working out for you, it was great to me for the few runs I used it for.

I lost my first M445 exactly the way you did, it is not fun. Were you using stock cable? Mine was a Pursuit with an AC cable bought from someone, should have up graded the flex cable as the first order of business, lesson learned for me.
Hope you get another prop, happy boating!

Yeh stock cable. Had probably 20 runs on the the electronics. The leopard must have just been too much. I couldn't stop smiling the whole minute it was running. It seriously felt out of control.

                Hey thanks for the pictures,
So how did all that damage happen to the other one you have for trade ?

Lol the silver one was my buddies. My genesis rode up the middle of his revolt. He was going through some personal issues and didn't have time for the boat anymore, and he owed me money that he borrowed from me so he gave me the revolt as collateral for what he owed me.

                    Ok.
It looked like it was run over by something,
But I could not understand how the hardware got so damage.

The rudder was hit with a prop when the silver revolt was flipped and a rescue went wrong. The genesis prop hit the rudder.

Got parts in for dual water cooling, ose transom pickup. The brass tube it came with wasn't big long enough so I made my own. Trying to decide where I want to put the outlets. The outlet in the picture is going to become a thru hull bulkhead inlet.

Sir, the way I make pickups is to anneal the brass tube in a 90 degree rounded by heat and will have less drag. My ? is the strut brass? You could anneal brass in a J formation and solder to brass strut and have pickup just under transom , plus less drag than in photo. The present setup is 50% more drag than what I suggested. The J piece will look like J. Just a suggestion!

I'm not understanding what you're saying. Maybe it's the angle of the picture but just the tip of the brass pickup tube is below the transom.

http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ickup-location. Look at the pictures in POST #2 & #3, especially #3, some solder a brass tube on their strut, provided you can do it with aluminum, there is no brass strut that I am aware of.
The ones in the pictures are what the so-called prop-wash water pick up. They don't "extend" into the water, hence less drag.
