how to mount a screw in the glasfiberhull when the threads is broken?

    Hello everyone :)

I have just dismantled a new Kyosho boat and one of the "wood screw" that sits at the bottom rear of the hull on the trimtab and it will not get stuck, threads had gone before i got tightened the screw so it has came this way from the factory. It looks like its treads on the fiberglas hull.

The question is how to get the screw in the hull without it loosens and falls out when threads are broken? This screew are small and sharp and just screwed right into the hull without nut to the other side, I took a power glue on the threads and i took power glue on the back of the screw inside the hull. Its one of the 3 screew to the right on the first pics
Is there is a better way to make it sure it stucked while driving?

Dont want it to fall out so i get water inside the boat.

Should i just trust at the Power glue holds up or should i try to find a new bigger screew to mount? Or maby find a machinetreads screew and use nut to the backside?
I have also glue every screew from the inside tp not get any water in so you know why its so much glue inside :)

Can anyone come with a solution? :)

I add 2 pics so you can se what i mean screew from outside.jpg

You could try a bigger screw or get some 4-40 nut and bolts and replace all the screws.

I would just put a nut on the end of it. if one stripped out chances are the rest will too eventually so I'd do some replacing if you have the time.

I have fiberglas hull but i dont know if it mixed With plastic, and since the screew going trough the hull then the hole in the hull got this Product on the fiberglashull

It will not look with plastic, that's what it means. If you don't plan to do any removal and really want this screw to stay, clean all surrounding goob out, put a few drops of CA, wait, was that you that had no CA in your area? I forgot, but CA does stick to metal.

              Hi! :)

I could buy a Product like a CA if CA is a Product like a thin floating fastglue that get stiff on a few seconds? I have add powerglue from locktite, its more like a epoxy and when it dryes its a bit soft, not bone hard if you know what i mean.

CA is thin floating glue and dries in a short time---depends on which thickness you buy. Thin=instant, medium =10-15sec. to set, but takes longer over all. Thick=can be slow.
I recommend the thin ones as you can count on it getting cured. most of them dries bone hard.

change them with stainless M3 bolts and nuts(with nylon locking ring)
do it properly and don't go messing with glue or things to fasten that screw, will not hold
