    Extruded aluminum blank for strut????

Hey do any of you have a source for the strut material? I would like to manufacture something myself. If I could get some of this extruded aluminum it would save me a lot of milling time. Or if someone has about a 24" piece I would be happy. (Or four 6" pieces)

I'd say extruded but you would probably have to go to China to find it. TFL perhaps??? Trying to make something beefier RW ?

Yea, maybe, lol,,,, thinking of saving some $. Or trying to. Still trying to justify that milling machine and metal lathe, by using it! Lol!!!! Those click drives are looking pretty sweet!! I was thinking about beefing up that little pin that is used for the pedistal on cat stingers, possibly making them into a strut with forces transmitted to the back of the transome as I've seen some adapters for click drives.

Hiya Slash :-) . I have friends that also make alot of their own stuff. They get alot of stuff thru industrial suppliers & pacific scrap & recycling. They bend up alot of aluminum in the metal brake. He gets rolls of aluminum from the vinyl siding suppliers & home depot.....
