I'm new in the rc boat game, but considering your batteries it depends how big motor you want. 1527/1D = 2300kv. This is a motor thats made for a max rpm on 60k. With 6s: 22,2 x 2300 = 51060. (continous watt = 2250, surge = 4500W)
Think this would be a pretty nice setup.

on the OSE shop i'm only seeng this motor with a 8mm shaft. they also have the 2500kv with 5mm shaft, but then you're really close to the max rpm.
You have the 1530's, but can't find any spec's on these.

You can go for the 22's but at 6s the 2215/1Y: 1480kv with 2500W continous and 40K max rpm. But cost a bit more.

    Or go for a double 6s = 12s setup

I just started to buy in the hardware for my first build, a Mhz 138.
Going to run with TP 5850 1000kv on 12s

TP Power has some nice motors, this became my choice after my budget couldn't reach the Lehner motors;-)

Best of luck, and hope you get some advice of some who has experiense with these kind of motors

But as I said, i'm a newbie at this and doesn't have any experiense with the Neu motors.

a conquest is a good boat for racing but wouldn't put it in saw territory. I would go with something in the 1400kv range on 6s with this boat. 6s with two motors/escs/batteries will give you 65-70mph with 1400kv motors. These boats are big but I know for a fact someone ran a conquest with twin leopard 4092 1390kv and got 68mph.

I would go neu 1527 1.5D. Tp power motors would work fine if you got the 4092 size called the 4060 I believe.

Thanks for correcting me Mike, as I said NEWBIE:-P were automatically thinking saw:-) But as you said the leopards is also a good alternative with the 4092 or the TP 4060's

You can have Aeromarine build you a Lt./G, with C/F floor Conquest. Then might one motor, do the trick?

Then we're 2:-) happy to hjelp, remember to program timing depending on if you get a Y or a D motor. I just know that a D shall have Low timing and the Y higher. How to figure all this out I think the people with better knowledge should explain. Has to do with running the motor as cold as possible. If this is programmed completly wrong it can damage your electronics

I've seen the video of that boat, and I'm really thinking about building one for myself lately

You do NOT want a light weight built Conquest, they will not survive a blowover - a club member found this out the hard way... A standard gas-weight hull with wood stringers is the way to go for a single motor. Many dozens of FE Conquests and similar hulls run in the 60s and 70s with single motors and make great race boats - I've built several myself.

One club member built a twin RC Boatworks Top Gun cat using Leopards and it ran very well indeed. IIRC it was a standard gas-weight hull too.

I ran a Aeromarine L/G-C/F Sport Hydro, with stringer, G1 Gas for two seasons....did have to watch out for the buoy's and the trading of paint.
But I see your point about the Conquest.......................................

I'm thinking castle 2028 single on 10s for single option. As far as making a twin, will twin 1515 1y do it? Anyone?
