    T120 in a 36" cat

    Looking for some advise
Just build my Hydro Marine 36" cat for sport running it has a 4074 1400kv Leopard motor on 6s
I know im on the limit using a T120 esc and a T180 would be a better option, but if i stay with the T120 and run a x440 or x442 prop
will it survive its maidern run if the COG is set right
im using a external UBEC with the T120 I also have extra caps i could fit if needed.

    thanks

I ran a 32" HOR, same as the fightercat rivercat on 3674 1600KV motors on 6S using t120s and never had a problem. 80 amp max draw on 442s w/ a slight cup. Ran 70mph. Just not for long because I couldnt fit enough mah in it.

That being said, based on what ive done, yes, it should be ok. Start it on 5S and see how it goes if that's an option. Work your way up to 6.
