I have an 11L in it at the moment and it flys. I have to readjust the tabs and balance point to get it to settle down. I would say that the only problem I see with going to high RPM's is that it also reduces the torque the motor can output. A high top end but getting off the blocks and also out of corners can be a little slower. It's a bit of a balance to get it right.
