pics of Don's twin tub twin engine 67/80. The major challenge according to Don about the twin tub design is by having the two motors further apart than a typical twin, the inside motor is loaded harder in a turn. You can compensate by using different cup/pitch props on the inside versus outside. In an FE might not be as big of an issue, but the inner motor will likely work harder.

Cool hadn't seen those JAE twin plans before, interesting enough I was looking at the single 45 plans and figured I'd widen the tub to 5" and keep the length at about 35"
The twin plans are a 5 1/16 width and 38"long.
Hope to be ordering parts by the end of the week!
Won't be a build thread, once I get rolling I just don't stop to take pictures, will take some when it's done and on the water probably.
Some really cool ideas out there, that twin tub jobbie is scarey looking!
Believe Glen Quarles did a really neat twin .12 nitro rigger, might have the name wrong, the guy who distributes NR engines in the states. Remember that one on IW.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Now that is what I was talking about
Looks like more fun that just building a wider tub and putting 2 set ups in one tub
