Uhhh...would what be the same? If you mean strut adjustment, that depends a lot on the hull. It is a good place to start, although you may have to make further adjustments just like the cat drivers.
Grease! I learned this simple trick last month....
I'm not a big fan of grease. It can work, but it creates more drag and is messy. The better way to do it, IMO at least, is to use a gland at the inboard end of the shaft. Use a length of silicone tubing slipped over the inside end of the stuffing tube, allowing a short length to hang over the end to just lightly touch the cable/shaft. This lasts a long time and keeps virtually all the water out - grease or no grease. The second short piece of tubing shown on top of the seal below can be left off for flex cable, the wire needs a tighter seal. I use regular clear tubing too, the color doesn't matter.

thanks for the vids iferguson pretty sweet.... the other motor will be in monday sould be a lot faster esp since im using crap off brand batts only 12 cells and im makin 2 8 cell batts out of intellect 3600 should be a biiiiiig diff cant wait...... also raied the strut a lil more and move the prop back some now using a x440 thing is skoooootin about 40 im guessing with the sv motor shoots a decent roostertail too!!! i think its about as good as it gets on tweekin it now more power and batts hehehe
About that roostertail.. Just remeber youhave the prop under the transom... Jay might be able to confirm (or discredit) this, but Ithing the spray will be minimal...
well i joined photobucket but decided to reeshoot the video..... its a ton faster with the sv motor on 14 cells and im in the proccess of doin a custom paint job......ill reshoot in a few days..... wait till you see the paint.......sweeeeeeet!! look for it by wed i hope to have it ready....sorry to be teasin you guys so much with the video but i dont have a camera at hand i have to wait till a friend or someone can shoot for me...... i think you guys will like the finished project!!
