How do I try to settle my boat down when running wide open

I have a Pro Boat Mystic that is all factory minus the prop. I was running it yesterday with my Exceed Flowmaster cat and my flowmaster cat runs like its on rails in the water. Its a lot slower then my Mystic but the only time it get bumpy is when it goes over wake other than that it stays flat and calm. My Mystic is just a wild ride, i put a new prop on it a Grimracer 42X55 and it runs fast but the front of the boat lifts up and the boat starts to bounce and more often then not it blows over in a spectacular crash. I dont really mind it flipping over but i just want to try and find a way to settle the boat down. My battery placement is as far forward as possible. My speeds with the boat as of now are in the 50-55 MPH range.

I believe its all the way up. I did notice today that the prop is above the bottom of the rudder and thought that was weird. Im still learning setups and haven't messed with it much due to most of my boats run really solid but not this one it just a real handful

The mystics, giecos etc etc take a bit of set up to run properly once out of the box stock format, and even then, take some tweaking to get right. Those hulls have a tendency to start to lift quite a bit above 50, but you should be able to get it to settle down. If you can post pics of inside and out you can get a lot more input. Dropping the strut may help, but can start a bouncing characteristic these hulls have. Make small adjustments, one at a time. meaning, don't move the strut and the battery at the same time, do one adjustment, run it, do another, run it, until its trimmed correctly. Ive rebuilt my own and several for customers that I hit the nail right on the head and it ran perfect, others took several runs before I got them sorted. As a last resort if you cant get it, if your near the tampabay area, bring it to one of our club meets and we will help to get it going

And the prop should be above the bottom of the rudder.

                Agent,
Did I sent you a copy of the Miss Geico or Blackjack setup guide? You should set up the mystic the same way.
                Chief

You will find a lot of setup and running information in the Mystic Forum: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...amaran-Q-amp-A

Even when setup well, they still will lift at higher speeds above ~50 mph. Using a tunnel air dam will reduce the hull's tendency to flip. Remember that these hulls were never designed to go that fast....
