What batteries for 4802 1250 kv Leopard 37: Daytona

What batteries should I use in my 37" Daytona I have a Castle 200 HV ESC and a 4082 1250kv Leopard.

Not sure if I should run 6S or 8S, and if 8S should I run 2 4S packs in series?

obviously if you can afford it get cells like the dinogy or hyperion but if you want more sets and decent quality maybe look at the turnigy nano techs they are good bang for the buck if treated properly. As well get the highest c rating you can afford as well it will help you in the long run and give you more amps at your disposal bud! And make sure to match the cell count to your kv so as not to over rpm the motor/prop......I think safe is around 30-35 k.

8s on just motor no prop is 37,000rpm would that be to much?

And 8s are pretty expensive so woukd it be better to do two 4s packs or should I stay with the 8 s in parallel

i wouldn't buy big "S" batteries. Cause if you hook something up wrong and blow a cell. You have to replace the whole battery. But if you buy smaller cell style batteries and run them in series. You still get the 8s your wanting.

if it was me, I'd buy (2) 3s batteries and (2) 4s batteries, or more. Of the same make, mha, and C rating. Then you can run 6s, 7s, and 8s.
