Well hello, Iam brand new here and and been boatn' for years mostly rtr/pnp and a few sail kits,
i believe i want to build a rigger next lil' squirters look really fun.
any way has any one tried Kyosho Jetstream 888 VE?

i'd like to go bigger later probably a bigger cat beyond 48" any suggestions please.
yes i have been to different sites but wounder d on the more durable hulls? $$$
i did not start any hobby trying to save money, Z scale trains and slots are my winter passion.

i have a spartan, stiletto, mystic cat, mini rio, strx9, vela and sea wind and a graupner.
have various surface vehicles as well.

my very first rc boat was (i believe) a 28" V hull kit from kyosho i used my Makita drill
9.6 batts to run a brushless 1985 worlds motor. my first sail boat was kyosho and gave it to a neighbor kid to keep him out of trouble (many moons ago).

while i have read most of the posts here while waiting to be able to post,
Stiletto is my funnest boat.
Spartan looked cool so it was acquired, hull is too thin.
Mystic cat too stable but a dream to operate.
minis for the pool and DO NOT last long awesome LIL' paper weights.
sail boats are like flying kites on water.

Welcome aboard. We can give you better recommendations if we knew a bit more about what you want from the boat:

- How are you running: racing, sport running, SAW?
- What are your speed goals?
- What are your run time goals?
- What kind of water do you run on - glass, ripple, rough, surf?
- What are you building skills?
- Are there any other boaters in your area?

curious on what company makes the strongest hulls for a larger CAT 48"-60" fiber glass and or carbon fiber?
i have seen a few sites but wanted a more experience FE persons opinion and first hand encounters.
