Be nice to see it work work with this hull as I qm not sure a offset rudder won't cause problems at high speed
I know they are completely different hulls, but my bandit runs an inline rudder and I have had 0 issues with it at mid 50's or so.

I don't know what the single is capable of, I am hoping as you saw with yours- mid 50's or so on a 642 on 6S then hopefully in the upper 60's, low 70's or so on 8S. Seeing how this hull behaves on the single though, I do kind of wish I went twins with it. I was thinking about maybe ripping it all out and going twins with it, but for the price of the hull, I'll probably just get another one when the time comes. Want to get this one dialed in and painted first though!

I just built a 37" shocker twin. On 5s with 442s first run was 64mph. But were I run is rough water 90% of the time and the genesis hull handles it very well.
Not sure but I think not having rid pads mite help it cut threw the water. I have only rolled mine once but that was possibly more due to the wind and waves catching it as i turned.

I have noticed from the few runs I have had that this hull handles chop very well-- at least going straight, haven't done much turning at speed in the chop. My problem with rolling was if I was turning and I let off the throttle too fast, the left rear corner would dip, hook and the hull would roll. Seemed to be magnified by the larger prop and the servo being mounted in the left sponson. Also, testing it's limits a few times, I rolled it turning too hard too fast, but that was expected.

What motors are you running in the Shocker?
