    UL-1 Hull Question.

Ok so I picked up UL-1 hull from a member here on the forum and got the boat and it is in almost perfect shape. The Question that I have is he put a 90 piece of plastic about 1 inch back from the front part of the boat. It spans the hole length of the underside of the boat and hangs down about 3/8 to 1/2 down from the hull. Its double sided taped on there. I just cant for the life of me figure out what this is for. Can someone please shed some light on what it might be for. I lost the guys info or I would just talk to him to find out.

Its an airdam. It disrupts the airflow under the hull to help prevent blowovers.

thats an air dam and helps keep the nose down at high speeds, not really nessery for slower speeds say in the 40s.but its sapossed to help when you get into the 50s.
