Proboat ESC brushed

Got new ESC ,can't get throttle to work. Using a stick radio HK-T4A V2,steering works ok Does this ESC only work with a pistol radio??

Would be helpful to know which ESC you got??
PB has made quite a few different models of brushed ESC's over the years.

Did you have the stick & trim in the centre position to allow for reverse? They won't iinitiate if the stick is pulled all the way back like some ESC's require.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

If yes, the manual can be downloaded there. That should help you get it set up correctly.

all is well,esc now working,had a bad rx. power to rx,but only steering servo would work. Used a new rx,and motor now works. Thanks for the help Larry
