    Voltmeters and batteries

I have been using Thunder Power LiPos, and just got some Genesis Lipos. The balance adaptors for the Thunder Powers are TP/FP; the Genesis are JST/HX. My voltage meter will not readout the Genesis batteries. Are voltmeters specific to the balance-adaptors....ie do I need another voltage meter that is compatible with JST/HX balance adaptors to measure the Genesis batteries? Thanks.

The Hyperion Meter I have will not do my Thunderpower packs because the pin spacing on the tap is different than my other packs. I run Hyperion's in my boats and Turnigy Nanotech's in my planes/heli. I have a Hyperion charger and what I do to get a reading on my TP packs is plug the battery to the balance board, then unplug the balance board cable from the charger and plug it into my meter. Don' know if this will work for you.

Thanks Chilli....that would work, but I would like to avoid fatigue on those little wires on the charger adaptors...(DynamitePassport Ultra Duo) As well, I am running the Thunder Powers on a Geico 29, and trying the Genesis setup on an Impulse 31. Would like to see the voltage use at the lake with the Gennies, but I don't bring the charger.

The pins look like they should line up.
