    building cyberstorm 33?

setting this hull up with a neu 1521 1.5d, sk 180 esc,x447/3 prop on 4s2p.....wondered from the pics I have seen which is better and why, By that I meant putting the motor closer to the transom and the batts forward being able to play with cog or having motor way up front with batts near back at transom.....advantages disadvantages etc??????? Im leaning toward the batts up front due to the obvious cog tunability but curious lol. Any help?

mine is in the center batteries on the side of motor much more tunability as far as COG I can move mine 5" forward or back, what I found more important is making a wet well and using a strut instead of a stinger, the ability to move the strut up and down without changing the angle is a big plus.

oops too late already used a speedmaster stinger lol, My only dilemma is that I already have a zicha cnc mount for my 1521 and wanna use it so it looks like I may be doing birch rails and lipos in the dead center of boat like propperchopper tony did, I did manage to get the boat to perfectly balance at 30 cog loaded but am concerned that I wont be able to air it out enough by moving batts back far enough like in my df29.That is when the water isn't rough hahaha

at the right speed for p mono you will need the cog more forward, for P-Offshore I'm at 35% and P-mono 40%, with the 1521 speeds of 70+ mph are easily attainable, I prop mine to do a little over 60 but rarely use full throttle in race conditions.

                    Hi,
                    I am using the x447/3 on my Pursuit with a leopard 4074 1800kv on 4s1p and 5s1p,
Top speed is 48mph on 5s1p and runs pretty stable.
But I am kicking around moving the setup for the cells,
My cg is at 9.5 with out the cell in place.

What size are those trim tabs ?
They look longer than mine at 1"7/8L x 1"W,
But I have two on each side on the hull.

the tape on the stinger is the cutoff point for better handling fyi, and I used associated blue thumbscrews on the rear hatch with stainless studs underneath and rubber grommets on top of hatch so no scratches. Hardware is 100 percent speedmaster and fins are ose large size.
