Running issue fast for 4 laps, slow for one, then fast again

I have a Q mono doing strange things...

    6s2p setup 5000mah 30+c

    leopard 5696 1340 kv motor/W cooler

    seaking 130hv esc

    Prop octura x646

The boat will run fast for 4 laps and then slow down for one and then pick up speed for the 6th lap. Have had this happen a number of times. cooling is flowing out nicely.

Temp is just on the high side when she comes in high 140's for batteries and 130's for the esc.

New to running electrics this year and any help would be great

What are the chances of the batteries dipping below the LVC on the ESC under load?

Like boredom said, I would think it's either dropping below lvc under load, but usually it won't reset until it is powered down in that case, otherwise I would guess a thermal cutout. What brand batts? What Hull?

in a test the voltage cut off was removed ( set to 0 ) did same thing.

hull is a 40 in e glass hull by Maus batteries have been zippy and TP both packs sets have done the same at a race and in practice. Boat has about 10 runs thus far.

I would guess you're pulling far more than 130 amps with that setup, so it may be a thermal or overcurrent thing. I know when I ran 6s2p with a 1600 4082 and a M645 in a DF explorer 36" cat, I was pulling over 200 amps according to data logging and that was a much smaller motor.........My guess is you may be over-amping that esc..........
Maybe somebody else has some feedback otherwise though.

Will be looking into getting a higher amp esc to try. As this seems the logical problem.

The way to know is disabling the LVC and most esc's have that opton.
                I suspect the batteries though.

Hard to vid and run the boat at the same time. Even harder when you leave the camera at home.

I had this prob with a castle 240 it was like the motor wouls start phasing after 3-4 laps and then start again, I thought it was signal problems at first then I changed motor, it was a software prob in the speedo i swapped it for a new 1 and it was fixxed, they changed the speedo for nothing.
