    If you'll pardon the slight detour , as long as we're discussing flex practices, I'll throw this in :

    Use (on screw collets) Anti-Seize on the threads (just a tiny dab - it'll spread itself out). Eliminates false tight spots while tightening down on flex and allows even torque.
