Hey for sure try with the 1300kv, I would suggest if you can afford it go with the T180 esc. It will give you more headroom for future experimentation and is a solid esc.

Here is the innards of mine to give u some food for thought. Shes a tight fit so she dont look pretty. :P

Great looking boat, what about that adjustable servo y harness. I think it was made to solve thus kind of problem. Not 100% though.

ok so i went ahead and sprung for the t180 esc seeing as id like to buy it once and be done versus going with a 120 and risking blowing it. hk had some in stock this week in usa so snagged them. having a hard time finding props. id like to stick with the carbon props for testing then when i find something close to what it likes go with metal or cnc but i cant find a set of counter rotating props.

Great news on the T180s. I never ran carbon so not sure where u could look. I ran x442 from octura and am currently trying out CNC x445. Temps in the 445 are high on the motors it acceptable.

Graupner makes carbon filled props. OSE has some in reverse in the 40 and 45 dia.

Thanks guys. Look forward to getting the carbon played in this hull this week I hope. Weather permitting since my wife won't let me use the kitchen counter for that

Tiqueman, thanks I will look into it. I will also be calling you soon. Had a hectic weekend with my girl turning one so had a big family party.

I will get pics up of what I have so far and of course of the carbon. I'm working on laying out the hatch windows and painting them today.
