Here is a Pic with my EKOS Monster Paint Job still a working project as it currently has a spare Impulse 31 Rudder.
My DF runs great, to me it has the few things that the Revolt is missing. The hull really rides well. Shortly after I purchased the Hull another was put up for sale here ARTR. A buddy of mine offered to purchase the hull and Hardware and I kept the electronics and Prop. So we did it.
I built my DF with 50% used Hardware, spares that I had laying around.

So I took the electronics and installed them on my DF.

Neu 1515 1Y 2200kv Dated 2008
SK 180 V2 but with no caps. Added Castle Cap bank, Ran it 5 times Caps caught on fire yesterday unknown why, but esc is still running, in fact I GPS'd it with my cell phone @ 47mph with an OSE CNC 48mm Prop (the boat came with an octura x648 looks like it has been worked on maybe it's been sharpened and balanced have not tried it yet)
The Speed Controller Came programed as follows
1 . 1 Forward only
2 . 1 Lipo Auto Cal
3 . 1 LVC no Protection
4 . 3 7.5* Timing
Im running it on 4s2p 35c 4100 mah (A Main Hobbies Cheap Batt's while my Venom 50c 5000's come back from warranty)
Like I said no adjustments to the hull just 4 runs into it I reached this speed. I tried to run it a few times with 15* Timing but it would not go fast at all . It would take off with Power but with in 2 sec's step down to a partial throttle. Set the ESC back to 7.5* done it runs good again.
My friends locally have Leo's 4074 2200kv running 4s2p they set their SK 180's like this
1 .1 Forward only
2 .3 Lipo (3s)
3 .4 LVC 3.2v cell
4 .5 15* Timing
I tried it and reached the same result no power after WOT.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Has anyone tried this 3s Setting for 4s2p on their ESC's Sound's weird to me not to set it for 4s. I have not tried it under the 4s setting yet. Going out to the Lake after work tomorrow.
